Wann ein Komma gesetzt wird
1. Aufzählungen
Trenne drei oder mehr Elemente durch Kommas:
I need to buy apples*,** bananas**,** and oranges.* She is funny*,** kind**,** and clever.*
In the morning*,** I always eat breakfast.* After the rain had stopped*,** we went outside.* However*,** I didn't agree with him.*
Komma + FANBOYS (for, and, nor, but, or, yet, so):
I wanted to go out*,** but it was raining.* She studied hard*,** so she passed the exam.*
4. Um nicht-bestimmende Relativsätze herum
(Zusätzliche, nicht-wesentliche Information — siehe Relativpronomen-Lektion):
My dog*,** which loves water**,** jumped into the lake.*
It was a hot*,** sunny day.* ✓ (beide beschreiben den Tag gleichwertig) She wore a little red dress. ✗ (kein Komma — Größe + Farbe, nicht gleichwertig)
